Strength machines

Problem Cause Solution
With low weight loads, the weight stack does not move smoothly and sometimes stays up. Bars poorly lubricated and/or dirty. Clean and lubricate the bars and bushings.
Bars not aligned Realign the bars.



Cardio machines with alternators: Bike, Glidex, Recline, Step and Top
Problem Cause Solution
The machine does not switch on The mains lead is not plugged in. Plug the mains lead into the wall outlet.
Master switch in the 0 position. Turn the switch to the 1 position
The fuses are blown Replace the blown fuses.
Malfunction of the power supply board. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Malfunction of the CPU board. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The machine fails to generate resistance. The resistance shown on the display is incorrect. Malfunction of the alternator. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The alternator cables are disconnected. Connect the alternator cables.
Malfunction of the electronic circuit boards. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The belt slips. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The measured heart rate shown on the display is incorrect. The machine is receiving data from the transmitters of an adjacent machine. Increase the distance between machines.
Sources of RF noise (TV, neon lights, electrical cables, monitors etc ) in the vicinity. Move the machine to a position where the RF noise does not interfere with HR the signal.
Malfunction of the transmitter. Use a transmitter that is working correctly.
Damaged receiver. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Malfunction of the display. Contact the Technical Support Service.

Cardio machines: Treadmill

Problem Cause Solution
The machine does not switch on. The mains lead is not plugged in. Plug the mains lead into the wall outlet.
The master switch is in the 0 position. Turn the switch to position 1
The fuses are blown. Replace the blown fuses.
The filter is damaged. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Malfunction of the power supply board. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Malfunction of the CPU board. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The heart rate measured and shown on the display is incorrect. The machine is receiving data from the transmitter of an adjacent machine. Increase the distance between machines.
Presence of RF noise (TV, neon lights, electrical cables, monitors etc ) in the vicinity. Move the machine to a position where the RF noise does not damage the signal.
Malfunction of the transmitter. Use a transmitter that is working correctly.
Receiver damaged. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Malfunction of the display. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The speed shown on the display is incorrect. Incorrect calibration of the electronic components. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Overheating of the inverter and/or of the motor. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Problem Cause Solution
The belt jams and the message Motor belt system malfunction appears on Runrace™, or the message E 3 appears on Run XT and XTPRO. Inverter affected by disturbances on the electrical line. Turn off the machine and switch it back on after 1 minute.
Defective electronic components. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Overheating of the inverter and/or of the motor. Turn off the machine, allow it to cool down and turn it back on after 1 hour.
The tread belt slips. Tread belt slack. Adjust the tread belt tension.
The rollers are worn. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The tread belt is misaligned. The tread belt shifted during use. Realign the tread belt.
The rollers are worn. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The elevation does not work and the display shows Elevation movement malfunction on Runrace™ and E 5 on Run XT and XTPRO. Defective electronic components. Contact the Technical Support Service.
The incline is incorrect. Motor malfunction. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Presence of RF noise in the vicinity. Move the machine to a position where the RF noise does not interfere with the elevation movement.
Excessive friction on the elevation bars. Lubricate the bars.
